Meet Coach B
Founder of THE LAB Fitness
Hi, I’m Letitia B — most people know me as Coach B.
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Advisor with over 16 years of experience, specializing in helping women 35+ navigate hormonal changes, low energy, stubborn weight, and metabolic health challenges in a sustainable, realistic way.
At THE LAB, we don’t chase quick fixes or extreme plans.
We focus on metabolic health, strength, and long-term consistency so fat loss becomes a byproduct — not a battle.
What I Do
I support women who are ready to:
-
Improve energy and strength
-
Address weight resistance and metabolic slowdown
-
Support blood sugar, gut health, and inflammation
-
Build habits that actually fit real life
My work blends evidence-based training, hormone-aware nutrition strategy, and personalized coaching — without extremes, guilt, or burnout.
My Approach
After years in the fitness industry, one thing became clear:
what works in your 20s often stops working in your 30s and 40s.
Hormonal shifts, stress, sleep, and recovery all change how the body responds. That’s why my coaching prioritizes:
-
Strength training (not endless cardio)
-
Adequate fueling and protein
-
Recovery, stress management, and sustainability
-
Clear structure without rigidity
This approach is the foundation of every program, session, and resource I offer through THE LAB.
My Story (Why This Matters to Me)
In my early 30s, I was diagnosed with multiple autoimmune conditions, including lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. For years, my life revolved around doctor visits, medications, and managing symptoms I was told I’d have forever.
Through lifestyle changes, movement, and learning how to truly listen to my body, I was eventually taken off all medications and cleared by my physicians.
Later, after significant weight gain during a different season of life, I once again had to relearn my body — this time through the lens of metabolism, hormones, and sustainability.
That lived experience shaped how I coach today.
I understand what it feels like when your body doesn’t respond the way it used to — and why a smarter, more supportive approach is necessary.
The LAB Today
THE LAB Fitness was launched in 2022 and has since supported hundreds of women through:
-
1-on-1 coaching intensives
-
Group transformation programs
-
Strength training
-
Educational resources and self-guided tools
Everything offered is designed to help women build confidence, clarity, and long-term health — not dependence on a program.
A Final Note
I don’t believe in perfection.
I believe in progress, patience, and understanding your body.
If you’re ready for a smarter approach to fat loss and health — one that works with your life instead of against it — you’re in the right place.
